HP and DES Deliver Industry-Leading I/O Performance on HP 9000 T600

Hewlett Packard Company and Database Excelleration Systems, Inc. (DES), today announced that the HP 9000 T600 Enterprise Server, working with DES Database Excellerator^TM solid state disks, produced a high-water benchmark of 5708 I/Os per second – more than 6.4 times faster than the HP T520 peak I/O rate of 890 I/Os per second.
