Lakeview Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission for Healthcare Accreditation (JCAHO). The Joint Commission will be conducting an unannounced survey of Lakeview Hospital sometime this year. The purpose of this survey will be to evaluate the organization's compliance with nationally established JCAHO standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded the organization. JCAHO standards deal with organization quality, safety of care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. You are encouraged to contact hospital administration via the Patient Comment Line at 299-2273 regarding any quality concerns or complaints so they may be resolved as quickly as possible.
