    Terms and Conditions

The course involves attendance one day or evening per week or one weekend per month. It is the students responsibility to attend every tutorial. If a student misses any tutorial it may be possible to attend the same tutorial on a different date and, possibly, at a different venue. Should a student wish to attend a missed tutorial they must pay a repeat tutorial fee of €120 per day / evening or €300 per weekend. We guarantee to provide all tutorials as advertised in literature specific to each course. Where advance notice is given prior to a course starting date it may be possible, subject to availability, to allow a student to attend on a different date and at a different venue without incurring any additional charge. This is not possible without NTC approval prior to the course start date except where the Educational Committee of the National Training Centre have offered approval in response to a written student request where genuine compassionate or medical reasons have been offered.

Students are eligible to sit final examinations irrespective of the number of tutorials attended although the ability to pass final examinations, particularly those of a practical nature, diminishes in proportion to the number of missed tutorials.

Students must complete 200 hours of practice and study over the entire term of the programme. This study must include 50 practice treatments.

The National Training Centre has set rules and regulations regarding professional attendance, time-keeping, personal appearance, conduct, etc. You agree to abide by such conditions, our Code of Ethics and National Standards and Guidelines.

All applicants for the National Qualification in Neuromuscular and Physical Therapy have a responsibility to ensure that they are not suffering from any illness or injury which may prevent them from complete participation on the course. Applicants must also ensure that they do not suffer from any communicable disease and furthermore, should they contract such a disease during the term where they are participating on the course that they will not attend for the duration of the period during which they could infect fellow students.

Before paying your deposit, or indeed any fees, you should ask all the questions you feel are appropriate. Please ask any questions you may have by telephone or at any open days or interview. At the NTC, we want you to make the right choice. It is important for potential students to understand that places on all courses are available on a first come first served basis. If you feel quite certain that this is the course for you we would advise that you pay a deposit as soon as possible in order to avoid potential disappointment.

Students who fail to complete any course will receive no refund of course fees paid and course fees which are owing will still have to be paid. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances.

All course fees must be paid once the course has started. If you must drop out of a course due to illness (or other reason), remaining course fees must be paid in full. Where there are exceptional circumstances, the Educational Committee of the National Training Centre will do everything in their power to facilitate a students completion of their studies at a later date.

Where students are paying by installments they must complete and return a direct debit mandate form at the time of enrollment. Non-payment of fees due by installment may result in a student being refused permission to continue with their participation on the course, to sit examinations, to receive examination results and awarding of certificates. If students face any unforeseen circumstances which have a negative impact on their ability to pay installments due, they should contact the NTC office of administration as soon as possible.

Students who have paid a deposit will automatically have their place on this National Training Centre course guaranteed.

There are no transfer facilities available between locations on the day / evening programme as this only runs in Dublin. There are limited transfer facilities between locations for the weekend course. What Our Graduates Say ...

When I enrolled on the National Qualification in Neuromuscular and Physical Therapy course I found that the facilities offered at the National Training Centre and the support of the NTC tutors helped me immensely in achieving my qualification.

This support is so important when returning to education. As a result of the qualification I received I have now established my own private practice and have recently returned
to the NTC to obtain the National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training which will lead to even more opportunities.
