IEC
has been providing advice and support in distance education and
open and flexible learning to the developing world since 1971. It
has a long and important history in the establishment of ODL as
a legitimate means of giving the marginalised access to quality
education.
It
is therefore with great pride and much sadness that I write to inform
you that the IEC Trustees have decided that the organisation will
cease to be active from 31 March 2006.
